Drug charges, Buddina
Police from the Sunshine Coast District Gang Squad have charged a man and a woman after the execution of a warrant at Buddina this morning.
At about 8.30am at Pacific Boulevard, it is alleged that during the search of a residence police located a large quantity of methamphetamine and cocaine with an approximate value of $100,000 and a quantity of cash in excess of $6,000.
A 32-year-old Buddina man has been charged with one count each of supplying dangerous drugs, possessing property obtained from supplying dangerous drugs, contravening an order about information necessary to access information stored electronically, possessing a restricted a restricted item (telescopic baton) and possessing a pipe that had been used in connection with smoking a dangerous drug and two counts each of possessing dangerous drugs and possessing anything used in the commission of a crime.
He is due to appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on August 25.
A 28-year-old Dakabin woman has been charged with two counts of possessing dangerous drugs and one count possessing property obtained from supplying dangerous drugs.
She is due to appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on September 21.
