Fatal traffic crash, Bluewater (Townsville)
Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating after a serious traffic crash incident at Bluewater (Townsville) late this afternoon.
Initial investigations indicate around 5.26pm on the Bruce Highway, 2km north of Bluewater, a vehicle heading north has rolled.
A 39-year-old male passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Four other people from the vehicle have been transported to Townsville hospital with one of those persons suffering from life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are appealing for any witnesses to the crash or for anyone who has dash cam footage of the incident to contact police.
