Fatal traffic crash, Gaven
A woman has died following a two vehicle traffic crash in Gaven yesterday evening.
Preliminary investigations indicate a car was taking the Smith Street Exit, southbound on the Pacific Motorway when it collided with a road sign and overturned.
Another car subsequently collided with the overturned vehicle.
The driver and sole occupant of the first vehicle, a 40-year-old Eagleby woman, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the second vehicle, a 53-year-old man, was not seriously injured during the crash.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
