Fatal traffic crash, St Lawrence

A 65-year-old New South Wales man injured in a single vehicle crash near St Lawrence on October 15 passed away in hospital early this morning (October 19).

The Minto man had been driving north along the Bruce Highway when he lost control and the vehicle left the roadway, approximately 15kms from St Lawrence.

The man was transported to Townsville General Hospital with serious injuries.

Two male passengers- a 57-year-old man from Cranebrook, NSW and a 62-year-old man from Wynnum- sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Investigations are continuing.
