Fatal traffic crash, Walkerston
A man has died following a two vehicle traffic crash in Walkerston this morning.
Initial information suggests just after 6.30am, two vehicles were travelling in opposite directions on Mackay Eungella Road at Walkerston when they collided.
The male driver of one of the vehicles died at the scene.
The female driver of the second vehicle and a child sustained minor injuries and were transported to the Mackay Base Hospital for treatment.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
