Glenella business targeted for burglary and car theft
A business in Fursden Street, Glenella has been hit hard by thieves shortly before 4:30am on August 22.
Entry was gained into the fenced business compound by damaging a secured gate. Once inside an implement was used to open a locked office door. A search has resulted in two car keys being located. These car keys have been used to enter and steal the following two vehicles from the compound:
- a grey 2007 model Chrysler Crossfire coupe registration number 636 VDL
- a silver 2009 model Holden Commodore sedan registration number 941 RWJ
It appears that the crooks were searching for nothing other than the car keys in the office area.
Unfortunately we don’t have an image linked to either of the stolen cars to share with you on our site.
If you have any helpful information, the police report number to refer to is QP1701463952.
