Have you locked up? 59 cars stolen in August
How secure is your vehicle and home? Police are urging members of the community to make home and vehicle security a priority following the theft of 59 cars last month between Gordonvale and the Northern Beaches.
In seven cases of vehicle thefts during August, two cars were stolen from the one home.
Following these few simple steps might just save you the heartache and headaches associated with property theft, vehicle theft and home burglaries.
- Ensure that your vehicle is locked and that valuables are removed EVERY time you leave your car
- Ensure that your home is locked
- Hide your car keys
Police also need your help to locate a number of vehicles stolen in the Far North.
