Police are seeking public assistance to help locate a woman and child reported missing from Coolangatta.

35-year-old Peta Norris (pictured) was last seen around 10.30pm on August 24 at a resort on Marina Parade in Coolangatta but hasn’t been seen or made contact with anyone since.

She is believed to have a 1-year-old girl with her.

She is described as being Caucasian in appearance, around 170cms tall and has short, dark hair.

The girl with her is described as Caucasian in appearance with blue eyes.

Police believe they may be travelling in a white Toyota Corolla hatchback with Queensland registration 419-XBB (pictured).
