Robbery charges, Capalaba
A man and woman have been charged following a robbery at an electrical store in Capalaba yesterday.
It will be alleged around 3pm a man and woman entered the business at a shopping centre on Moreton Bay Road.
The man then allegedly led a 31-year-old male staff member to the back of the store and distracted him while the woman stole the cash register and left the store.
The employee confronted the woman as she left the shopping centre to try and recover the cash register. Police attended, arresting a man and woman.
A 27-year-old Wakerley woman has been charged with robbery in company, enter with intent, possession of drug utensil, assault police, and two counts of stealing.
A 29-year-old Manly West man has been charged with one count each of robbery in company, and enter with intent, possession of dangerous drug and possession of drug utensil.
Both are due to appear in the Wynnum Magistrates Court this morning.
