Robbery, Minyama
Detectives have charged a man following their investigation into a robbery at Minyama yesterday.
It will be alleged at 2.20pm a 21-year-old man and 20-year-old woman where home at their Chelsea Crescent residence when two men entered the house and threatened them with a baseball bat and a handgun, demanding cash.
It will be further alleged the man was punched in the head by one of the men who then searched the house and removed some property.
At 7.05pm police attended a Kuluin address and located a man nearby.
A 35-year-old Kuluin man is expected to appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court today charged with one count of enter dwelling with intent, assault and possession of a restricted item (telescopic baton).
Investigations are continuing.
