Robbery with violence, Regents Park

Logan District detectives are investigating a violent robbery incident that occurred at Regents Park this afternoon (October 28).

Initial investigations indicate at about 4.30pm, four men have approached a taxi which was parked on Waller Road, pulled the male driver out of the vehicle and assaulted him whilst demanding money.

The men removed a quantity of cash from the taxi and fled the scene in a red Ford Focus towards Green Road.

The driver of the taxi received minor injuries only and was treated at the scene.

The four men are described as Pacific Islander in appearance.

Investigations are continuing.
