Serious assault, Petrie Terrace
Police are investigating the serious assault of a man in Petrie Terrace early this morning.
At around 4am officers were called to the intersection of Milton Road and Petrie Terrace following reports a man had been assaulted.
Emergency services attended and transported a man, believed to be aged in his early 30s, to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for treatment of stab wounds to his abdomen and back.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have seen a car leaving the area at around 4am or has further information to contact Policelink on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Milton Road is currently closed in both directions leading onto Petrie Terrace.
