Serious traffic crash, Caboolture
Police are investigating a serious, single vehicle traffic crash which occurred on the Bruce Highway at Caboolture earlier today.
Preliminary investigations suggest around 11.30am, a car travelling north on the Bruce Highway at the D’Aguilar Highway interchange veered from the road and onto the median strip.
The vehicle travelled approximately 100 metres before colliding with a concrete drainpipe.
The 49-year-old male driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s hospital with serious injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating, with officers urging anyone with relevant dashcam footage of the incident or prior to the crash to contact Crime Stoppers or Policelink.
