Serious traffic crash, Dakabin
Police are seeking public assistance following a serious traffic crash that occurred this morning in Dakabin.
Preliminary information suggests that at 9.40am, two vehicles that was travelling on Old Gympie Road when one collided with the rear of the other.
The vehicle at the front lost control and the other crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head on with a four-wheel drive.
The driver of one of the vehicles, a 21-year-old woman, was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with serious injuries.
The male driver of the four-wheel drive was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and the driver of the ute didn’t sustain any injuries.
The Forensic Crash Unit are appealing to anyone that was driving on Old Gympie Road this morning between 9.30am and 10am that has dashcam to contact them.
