Serious traffic crash, Pimpama
Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating after a motorcycle crashed at Pimpama this afternoon.
Initial inquiries indicate around 3.20pm a motorcycle was headed north on Cunningham Drive North, Pimpama, when the rider has lost control at the intersection with William Boulevard. The rider has been thrown from the bike and hit a post.
The rider, a 41-year-old Pimpama man, was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Investigation are continuing.
