Serious traffic incident, Broadbeach
A 78-year-old man is in a critical condition after being struck by a vehicle at Broadbeach this morning.
Initial information indicates around 10am a vehicle was turning from Albert Avenue into Old Burleigh Road when the man crossed the road and was hit by the vehicle.
The man sustained a head injury and was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident.
