Sexual assault, Beenleigh
Police are investigating after a woman was sexually assaulted at a park in Beenleigh this morning.
The woman aged in her 20s attended the amenities block at Doug Larsen Park on Logan Street around 10am when she was confronted by a man who produced a knife before sexually assaulting her.
The woman managed to break free and flee the scene before contacting police.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged between 25 to 35 years-old with a solid build, fair complexion and short dark hair.
He was wearing a black t-shirt, dark coloured shorts and white running shoes.
Police are urging anyone who may have further information that can assist to contact Policelink or Crime Stoppers.
