Unlicenced driving, Mareeba: Police have charged a Mareeba woman after a traffic incident in Mareeba on Wednesday afternoon.
It will be alleged police intercepted the 26-year-old woman on the Kennedy Highway Mareeba at about 2.45pm and checks revealed she was unlicenced.
The driver is scheduled to appear in the Mareeba Magistrates Court on October 23, charged with one count of unlicenced driving.
Traffic offences, Mareeba: Police have charged a Tarzali man after a traffic incident in Mareeba on Wednesday evening.
It will be alleged police intercepted the 27-year-old man on the Kennedy Highway Mareeba at about 8.35pm and checks revealed the trailer he was towing was unregistered and uninsured. Further checks also revealed that the driver was unlicenced and the vehicle and trailer were both defective.
The driver is scheduled to appear in the Mareeba Magistrates Court on October 13, charged with one count of unlicenced driving, unregistered and uninsured and two counts of defective vehicle and trailer.
