Break and Enter, Ravenshoe: Police are investigating after a break and enter in Ravenshoe on the weekend.

Initial investigates suggest that unknown people have broken into a business on Bolton Street sometime between 4pm Sunday and 7:45am Monday morning and stolen a Samsung Tablet and a mobile phone.

Stealing, Atherton: Police have charged a local juvenile after an incident in Atherton on Monday afternoon.

It will be alleged that the 15-year-old female youth has stolen a handbag from the victim as she was shopping at a supermarket in Atherton at about 5:45pm before running from the area.

The handbag and all her possessions were recovered and the female juvenile was charged with one count of stealing.

Public nuisance and Drugs charges, Mareeba: Police have charged a local man after an incident in Mareeba on Tuesday morning.

It will be alleged that the 41-year-old man has attended an address on Earl Street at about 1am where he has caused a disturbance before starting a fight with another man on the street.

It will also be alleged that when transported to Mareeba Watchhouse, a small amount of cannabis was located in the man’s pocket.

He is scheduled to appear in the Mareeba Magistrates Court on November 6, charged with one count each of commit public nuisance and possess dangerous drugs.
