Burglary, Mareeba: Police are investigating after a residence in Riverview Close was broken into on Wednesday morning.
Initial investigations suggest that unknown people have broken into the residence between midnight and 2.30am and stolen a set of car keys, money and other items. A maroon Mitsubishi Triton, bearing Qld Registration plates 365KNK was also stolen.

Drug Driving, Mount Carbine: A 41-year-old Lakeland woman was charged after a traffic intercept on Tuesday morning.
It will be alleged that the woman was detected travelling at 155km in a 100 zone at about 11am on the Mulligan Highway, Mount Carbine. It will also be alleged that the woman provided a positive reading for dangerous drugs after a roadside drug test was conducted.
She is expected to appear in the Mareeba Magistrates Court on October 3.
Speeding, Laura: Police intercepted a driver on the Peninsula Development Road, Laura yesterday and issued them with a Traffic Infringement Notice after detecting them travelling at 93km in a 60 zone. The driver was fined $533 and also lost 6 demerit points.
