Drink driving, Atherton: Police have charged a local man after a traffic intercept in Millstream on Sunday afternoon.

It will be alleged police intercepted the 32-year-old man on Millstream Parade at about 3:40pm and when required to provide a roadside breath test, he returned a reading of 0.113 per cent.

The driver is scheduled to appear in the Mount Garnet Magistrates Court on a later date, charged with one count of drink driving.

Traffic offences, Kairi: Police have charged a Tolga man after an incident in Kairi on Sunday evening.

It will be alleged Police were called to an address at Walker Street Kairi after a 26-year-old man attended the address and was asked to leave by the residents.

When police located the Tolga man at his address it will be alleged that he had driven an unregistered and uninsured vehicle to the Kairi address and it will also be alleged that he was disqualified from driving as well.

The man is scheduled to appear in the Atherton Magistrates Court on September 26, charged with one count each of driving unregistered vehicle, driving uninsured vehicle, trespass and driving without a driver licence.
