Wilfully make unnecessary noise or smoke, Hermit Park

A man has been issued a traffic infringement notice for wilfully make noise on September 27 at about 3:55pm.

The man attended the Mundingburra Police Station on Charters Towers Road. He was advised that he needed to attend the Townsville Police Station to have the matter finalised as per written instructions.

Upon leaving the station it will be alleged that he was observed to reverse his car causing his tyres to screech and then drove out onto Charters Towers Road causing his tyres to spin and screech.

The man attended Townsville Police Station and was subsequently questioned in relation to the traffic offence. The man stated that he was angry because he had to go to Townsville Station.

The 36-year-old Fredricksfield man was issued with an infringement for $403 and had his car immobilised for 90 days.
