Update 3: Homicide, Petrie Terrace
Police have charged a man with murder following extensive investigations into an incident that occurred in Petrie Terrace yesterday morning (October 6).
It will be alleged that around 4am, a verbal altercation between two men attempting to cross Milton Road and a man who exited a vehicle travelling on Milton Road escalated.
A 30-year-old German National sustained stab wounds to his abdomen and back, and was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital where he passed away later that day.
A 33-year-old man from Lockrose was arrested this morning and has been charged with one count of murder.
He is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday, October 9.
