Update 3: Missing woman, Port Douglas
A 71-year-old woman missing in Port Douglas has been located safe and well.
Her bag was located in mangroves near the Dickson Inlet area around 9.30am and State Emergency Service personnel were able to follow foot prints to her location.
She was helped out of the swamp area and taken back to the Port Douglas Fire and Rescue Station for initial treatment, before being transported to Mossman Hospital for further treatment of minor injuries and dehydration.
Police would like to thank volunteers from the State Emergency Service, Fire and Rescue staff as well as members of the public and the media for their assistance.
