Update: Assault investigation, Redcliffe
Police have released images of a man who may be able to assist with an investigation after a man was assaulted in Redcliffe on August 11.
Officers were called to Anzac Avenue at 11.50pm following reports a man had been assaulted near the intersection Sutton Street.
A 41-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were walking on Anzac Avenue when the man became involved in a verbal altercation with another man who punched him in the face before fleeing.
The 41-year-old’s head hit the ground. He was taken to hospital with facial fractures.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, 178cm tall with a proportionate build and brown hair.
Investigations are continuing.
