Update: Crocodile located, Mowbray River (Craiglie)

Police can confirm human remains have been located inside a crocodile which was removed by officers from the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection (EHP) at Mowbray River near Craiglie overnight.

The 4.3-metre estuarine crocodile, which is believed to be the one involved in the death of 79-year-old Anne Cameron, was examined by a specialist in Cairns today with human remains being located inside.

Police investigations continue with officers preparing a report for the Coroner.
