Update: Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, Fitzgibbon
A man has been charged following investigations into an alleged dangerous operation of a motor vehicle in Fitzgibbon last month.
It will be alleged around 12.20pm on Thursday, August 24 the driver of a vehicle evaded a Random Breath Test site on Linkfield Road.
Police will further allege when the driver of vehicle tried to avoid being tested, it travelled towards a male officer forcing him to jump out of the car’s path.
The officer was not physically injured during the incident.
Police located the car abandoned just before 1pm on Highbridge Circuit in Carseldine.
An 18-year-old Ftizgibbon man has been charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, driving whilst disqualified, driving whilst unregistered/uninsured and fail to stop for prescribed purpose.
He is expected to appear in the Sandgate Magistrates Court on September 25.
