UPDATE: Missing boy, Nerang
The missing boy has been located safe and well.

Police are trying to locate a 12-year-old who was reported missing from Nerang.
The boy was last seen on Saturday September 2, leaving a Riverview Road residence at around 10.30am.
Police are concerned for the welfare of the boy due to his age.
He is known to frequent the Surfers Paradise and Southport areas.
He is described as Caucasian, approximately 160cm tall, of slim build with sandy coloured hair.
He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with grey sleeves, dark blue chino-style pants and a “NY” cap.
Anyone who has any information about the boy is urged to contact police.
