Update: Pedestrian injured at Caboolture

A 19-year-old Caboolture woman critically injured after she was struck by a utility when crossing at a pedestrian crossing on October 17 sadly passed away in hospital today.

The incident occurred around 8.30pm on Pettigrew Street, Caboolture.

A 33-year-old Caboolture man was charged with driving a motor vehicle whilst over the middle alcohol limit but not over the high alcohol limit, after allegedly returning a positive result of .114 per cent.

Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing.
