Update: Serious traffic crash, Greenslopes
A man has died following a serious, two vehicle crash in Greenslopes yesterday.
Around 10am, police and emergency services responded to reports of a crash between a car and a motorcycle at the intersection of Juliette and Bunya streets.
The motorcycle rider, a man aged in his 80s was knocked to the ground and suffered serious injuries.
He was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment where he died as a result of his injuries.
Officers from the Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the cause of the crash.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or may have vision of the area is asked to contact police.
