Witnesses sought in relation to indecent behaviour at Trinity Park

Police investigating an incident that occurred on the northern end of Trinity Park Beach in July are seeking assistance from beach-goers who may utilise the area.

At around 2.20pm on July 20, a woman was on the beach when a male approached her and made suggestive and inappropriate comments.

The woman told him to leave and he did so, however he returned a short time later and looked in the woman’s direction but did not speak with her.

He then walked toward some nearby bushes and committed an indecent act in view of the woman. The victim left the beach immediately and the incident was subsequently reported to police.

Investigators are interested in speaking with anyone who may have witnessed this incident or any other similar incidents in the Trinity Park Beach area before or after July 20.

The man is described as being Caucasian, around 175cm tall and of proportionate build. Police reference # QP1701256903 refers.
