Wounding, Gladstone
Gladstone detectives are investigating a wounding incident that occurred in Kin Kora last night (October 31).
Preliminary investigations indicate that at around 10.30pm, a man has been observed driving erratically on Magnolia Crescent. The man has then stopped in the street and attempted to enter a residence.
A disturbance has then occurred at that address between the man and a woman where the man has sustained injuries after breaking a glass door panel. The man then left the house and at this time three neighbours have attempted to restrain him.
During this altercation one of the neighbours, a 56-year-old man, has allegedly been stabbed in the back and received lacerations to his arm from a knife.
Police arrived a short time later and a 19-year-old man was taken into custody.
He was then transported to Gladstone Hospital for treatment to his injuries where he remains.
The 56-year-old man was also transported to Gladstone Hospital for treatment for a stab wound to his back and lacerations to his arm.
Police investigations are continuing.
