Police are investigating after a man was shot this morning in Jensen.
Officers attended a Brisbane Road address around 4.30am to find a man with a gunshot wound to his leg.
Preliminary information suggests someone entered the home and made threats to the man before shooting him.
The man, in his 30s, has been transported to the Townsville Base Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A crime scene has been declared.
Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious on Brisbane Road this morning is urged to contact police.
